First Hot Place in South Korea - by Korean

Hello everyone!

From today, I'm going to introduce hot places in Korea on my blog! I believe that recommendations from a Korean will be the most helpful :)

I'll try to post at least two entries per week starting today. I'll do my best to turn my blog into a collection of great tips for traveling in Korea!

The place I want to recommend today is Songdo! Songdo is known for its famous Central Park with a beautiful lake.

It’s a great park, often called Korea’s Central Park, and its location is convenient because it’s close to Incheon Airport. Songdo is beautiful during the day, but I recommend visiting at night—the night view is absolutely stunning!

There are scenic walking paths like this, and there’s also a café and restaurant built in the traditional hanok style, which makes it even more beautiful.

As you walk around, you’ll come across a spot where you can ride small boats on the river. There are many cute and beautiful boats in different shapes like hearts, ducks, and more, which makes the experience really charming.

Nearby, there’s the Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet, where you can enjoy shopping and delicious food during the day.

Inside, it’s very pleasant, spacious, and environmentally friendly, making it great for walking around. There are plenty of dining options, and many brands have stores there, so I highly recommend it if you want to shop affordably!

You don’t have to eat just inside the outlet; if you go a little further out, there’s a street right next to it with even more food options!

Near there, there's a Korean pork belly restaurant called "Daeyoung Restaurant," which is a favorite among foreigners since they really love our country's samgyeopsal. I highly recommend it!

The address is Songdo-dong 171, and I'll provide the link below for more information.

When you enter, you'll see signs written in Korean, but you’ll get a sense of the atmosphere there.

Anyway, today I shared about Songdo in Incheon. Since this is my first post, I feel like it’s still a bit lacking, but feel free to leave any comments or questions, and I’ll be happy to respond anytime! Thank you for reading!
